When I first cracked open A Woman After God’s Own Heart along with the ladies that joined me in my small group, I thought … “Wow! This is really something I could get my brain around.” But, as I continued to read I’ll have to admit that I was a little “put off” by the words that seemed to be written by an extremely “traditional” homemaker named Elizabeth George. I thought, “I am nothing like this woman.” But, the leader in me wouldn’t let me quit on my group … on my reading and I’m so glad I didn’t! Once I got over my “perceptions” and recognized I could learn some valuable nuggets from a woman of a different age and position, I discovered many wisdoms that I immediately chose to adapt to my own life. I took steps to cherish my husband, children, friends, myself, and God more.
This is a book for every woman … even me!
